The project "Modernization of the Rokycany - Pilsen" is part of a national III . Railway Transit Corridor - West . The proposed horizontal and vertical alignment routes and the resulting structural modifications have been achieved in the Rokycany - Ejpovice line speed of 120 km / h and the relocation of Ejpovice 160 km / h for classic car unit and the speed of 160 km / h for units with tilting throughout section . The prime objective of corridor construction on the shoulder from Prague to Pilsen to achieve running time under 1 hour from the main train station in Prague main railway station in Pilsen and also in the opposite direction.
